The engagement was held in June 2010.
Rohan Murthy and Lakshmi Venu smile for the shutterbugs. Rohan proposed to Lakshmi last year. Rohan is a Microsoft fellow, pursuing PhD in Computer Science from Harvard University.

The star-studded event was attended by Union Ministers Kamal Nath, P Chidambaram, Anand Sharma and G K Vasan besides top corporate honchos. Union urban development minister Kamal Nath also blessed the couple at the auspicious event.
Venu Srinivasan is the chairman of TVS Motor and also the Managing Director of Sundaram Clayton Ltd. He has been the President of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the year 2009-10.
