Prime Minister Narendra Modi today arrived in Abu Dhabi on a two-day visit to the Gulf country which he described as 'mini-India' close to his heart.
PM Modi was received by Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Abu Dhabi airport in a departure from protocol.
"I deeply appreciate kind gesture of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan," PM Modi tweeted shortly after he was received by the Prince.
In the evening, PM Modi will visit the iconic Sheikh Zayed mosque in Abu Dhabi, built with marble brought in from all across the world, including from India.
