Remembering 9/11

More than a decade later, the events of September 11, 2001 still resonate across the globe and invoke an universal sense of shock, horror and disbelief.

For the city of New York and its people, the scale of the tragedy was unprecedented, life altering and an ultimate test of endurance.

To a present day visitor to New York, more than the obvious, visible process of rebuilding the city's skyline, what is apparent is the extra effort being put by its people to constantly hold on to the memories of the tragedy, not just as a reminder of what transpired but as a way to cope and move on.
