The clock started ticking at Delhi's DLF Promenade Mall as Airtel launched the iPhone 4 – officially – in India at midnight on May 26.

Still some time to go – there was band baajaa to keep the excited Airtel customers entertained.

Aircel launched the iPhone 4 in India as well. Gagan Bhutani and Deepak Mishra are the first official owners of the Aircel iPhone 4 in Delhi. Here, with Aircel COO Gurdeep Singh.

Shweta Singh gets her hands on a white phone. Shweta is Airtel's first iPhone 4 customer in Delhi. An ardent Apple fan, the phone's been a long time coming to her and she also intends to get herself an iPad 2 now.
