The new pricing model allows customers to recover the upfront cost of their iPhone on select plans over the course of 24 months, making iPhone in India more affordable than ever.

The US pricing of the iPhone 4 stands at $199 for the 16GB variant and $299 for the 32GB variant.

No word yet as to whether the white iPhone 4 will debut in India as well.

The iPhone 4 will face some stiff competition from the likes of the Nexus S, LG Optimus 2X and the soon to launch Samsung Galaxy S2 in India.
