The build quality of the iPad mini is sure to blow you away. Apple has outdone itself with the overall fit and finish on this tablet.

The low resolution iPad mini display may be a little bit underwhelming for those used to the 'Retina' quality.

The right side of the iPad mini features the familiar orientation lock/ mute switch and the volume buttons. The iPad mini features 5-megapixel camera.

The iPad mini will compete with the likes of Google's Nexus 7.

Google's Nexus 7 (right) comes with a slightly higher resolution 1280x800 display and costs $199 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version.

The Nexus 7 (right) is visibly thicker than the iPad mini, but over half an inch narrower. The build quality of the Nexus 7, however, is nowhere near iPad mini's.

The iPad mini is now available in select countries starting $329. No word on India pricing/ availability yet.
