Aamir Khan: Talaash proved once again that an Aamir film is worth waiting for. The suspense-thriller earned Rs.48.99 crore in the opening weekend and the critics loved Aamir's performance as the workaholic cop investigating the murder of a superstar.
Ranbir Kapoor: A year after his acclaimed performance in Rockstar, Ranbir delivered another winner as the Chaplinesque hearing and speech impaired Murphy in Barfi!, India's entry to the Oscars.
Ajay Devgn: Ajay also assured himself a place among the top 10 this year with his much talked about Son Of Sardaar which entered the elite Rs 100 crore club. The actor managed to pull large crowds despite stiff opposition from Shah Rukh Khan's film Jab Tak Hai Jaan which released at the same time. Ajay also had a superhit in the comedy Bol Bachchan which released earlier this year.
