Heroine: Far from being Kareena Kapoor's The Dirty Picture, the much hyped Heroine proved to be one of the most disappointing films of 2012. Notwithstanding the rigorous marketing and promotions and Kareena's sizzling item number Halkat Jawani, the movie fizzled away into nothingness, both at the box office as well under the critical eye. Kareena's performance received some praise, but not enough to resurrect the film.
