There is keen interest surrounding this movie as large scale special effects have never been attempted before in Telugu cinema.
Eega has a liberal dose of fantasy with the hero being killed by the villain and then being reborn as a housefly.
Ashta Chemma actor Nani will play the lead role.
Telugu actor Sudeep will portray a negative role in the movie.
Glam girl Samantha, fresh from her Dookudu success, is the female lead.

The cinematography for the movie has been handled by Senthil Kumar, who has earlier worked with director S S Rajamouli for Magadheera and Yamadonga.
