According to reports the title is inspired by Andhra politician Jagan Mohan Reddy. However, the film does not deal with his life.

The movie revolves around Shiva's character who has been imprisoned for a crime but is later proved to be innocent.

The music has been composed by Amar Mohile.

The shooting for the film is expected to end by mid-July.
