Actor Shahid Kapoor and director Kunal Kohli were spotted promoting their upcoming movie, Teri Meri Kahaani in Mumbai.
Shahid Kapoor will be playing three different characters from different eras in the movie.
To get the perfect look for all the three eras, Shahid has followed a strict exercise regime and diet plan under his trainer Abbas Ali's guidance.
Shahid will romance Priyanka Chopra, also playing three roles, in the film.
One of Shahid's characters in the film is inspired by late actor Shammi Kapoor's mannerisms and body language.
To get his Kapoor character absolutely right, Shahid watched a lot of Shammiji's films.
Director Kunal Kohli said, "If you happened to be a young man in the 1960s, you couldn't get away from the Shammi Kapoor influence. And for that matter the influence of Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand. With the help of my art director Munish Sappal, I've recreated the film industry and Mumbai of the year 1960 on a studio floor. We've built the streets of Mumbai with trams cruising back and forth. We've also recreated monuments and eye-catching locations of Mumbai such as Marine Drive and the Taj Hotel the way they used to be."
