Also present at the cake-cutting was Aamir's Rangeela co-star Jackie Shroff and the two had their arms wrapped around each other like old friends.
The actor claimed that he was not aware of the plans for his birthday. "Kiran has planned something for me, so I wouldn't be in Mumbai on my birthday. However, I didn't want to break this tradition of celebrating with the media and thus I shifted the celebrations to a day earlier," he said.
Aamir gave his undivided attention to the star-struck paparazzi who seemed more happy listening to him than asking questions.
Aamir offered a slice of cake to a mediaperson.
Aamir, who seemed to be in high spirits, looked handsome in a graphic grey T-shirt and a pair of cargoes.
