Two Bollywood superstars, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, made it to the 2016 Forbes' Top 10 highest paid actors list. Forbes estimates earnings, before taxes and management fees, from movies, TV and commercial endorsements.
Wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson topped a Forbes magazine list of the world's highest paid actors with an estimated 2016 payday of $64.5 million.
Jackie Chan, who has not had a big US box office hit for years but is a prolific actor and producer in the burgeoning Chinese entertainment market, was second on the list with $61 million.
Matt Damon came in third with $55 million, largely due to the success of his 2015 space film 'The Martian'.
Tom Cruise stood at the fourth position in the list with $53 million.
Johnny Depp, who recently settled his divorce case with Amber Heard, came in fifth with $48 million.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Ben Affleck's $43 million put him at sixth position.
xXx 3 star Vin Diesel, with $35 million, is at seventh.
Shah Rukh Khan, with annual earnings of $33 million, stood at the eighth position.
'Iron Man' Robert Downey Jr. fell from top spot, despite reprising his comic book hero role in 'Captain America: Civil War'. He ranked eighth, tied with Shah Rukh Khan, with $33 million.
Akshay Kumar, last seen in 'Rustom', ranked in tenth with $31.5 million. He shared the spot with Brad Pitt.
