Patna: The body of an unidentified youth was foundhanging from a tree at Urain Navkadih in Lakhisarai district of Bihar today.
"We are trying to ascertain the identityof the about 20-year-old youth clad in jeans and half-shirt. He was found hangingfrom a 'gamcha' (thin towel) fastened to a branch of the tree by a canal,"ASP Manoj Kumar Tiwary said.
Itcould be a case of suicide, but all angles were being investigated to find outthe reasons for the death of the youth, he said.
Since the area is known for Maoistactivities, police have also been investigating whether the rebels had any handin the incident.
