PM said steps will be taken against manual scavenging: Aamir Khan

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan went to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today to highlight concerns of manual scavengers engaged in cleaning excreta. The actor, however, was asked to meet Mukul Wasnik, the Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, to discuss the issue. Mr Khan then went to Shastri Bhavan where he met Mr Wasnik.
