He's often been referred to as the people's President and has always managed to steer clear of any controversies. But now, the yet to be released memoirs of former President APJ Abdul Kalam seem to be kicking up quite a political storm. JDU leader Sharad Yadav took on Kalam for his remarks on Sonia Gandhi vis-a-vis the 2004 elections and asked why Kalam chose to remain silent for eight years.
