VRS Natarajan, who is the head of the government-run defence unit Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), has been suspended, based on a recommendation by the CBI. A case has been registered against him in the controversial Tatra truck deal, and the CBI has accused Mr Natarajan of trying to influence the investigation against him.
