IIT Kanpur to conduct its own entrance test from 2013; will others follow suit?

Rejecting Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal's 'one nation, one test' proposal, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, has decided it will conduct its own entrance test to undergraduate programmes from next year.
