Air India strike: Ten sacked, teams sent to homes of 'sick' pilots

The government has said Air India pilots are making it impossible to justify the 30,000 crore bailout sanctioned just a few weeks ago for the national carrier. More than 150 pilots have called in sick since midnight, forcing the cancellation of at least five international flights. Ten pilots have been sacked and the Indian Pilots Guild (IPG) has been derecognised in retaliation.
