Close to two dozen people were injured on Wednesday as an elephant participating in the Thrissur Pooram festival ran amok, police said.Inspector General of Police S Gopinath told Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) that none of the injured was in serious condition.The incident happened around 12.15 pm when an elephant, Kalidasan, turned hostile.
