In a major drive, the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has disconnected power supply to more than 3.56 lakh consumers for non-payment of dues and recovered Rs 151.94 crore from defaulters during 2011-12, an official said on Tuesday. "Power supply of 356,825 defaulters was disconnected temporarily or permanently," a UHBVN spokesman said here.
