Prime Minister meets airline chiefs, Mallya absent

Close on the heels of the financial turbulence at Kingfisher Airlines, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today met with heads of major domestic airlines. Sources have told NDTV that while the PM took note of the issues plaguing the aviation industry, he desisted from making any concrete assurances.
