Water Polo

Played between two teams of seven players in a pool. Players must not touch the bottom or sides of the pool, thus swimming or treading water during the game, and are restricted to using one hand. Only goalkeepers can use both hands. The defence may tackle an opposing player who has the ball, but if that player holds the ball under water a foul is called. The attacking side has 35 seconds to shoot, and the entire ball must cross the goal line. If 35 seconds have passed without a shot, the opposing side is awarded possession via a throw or throw-in. More
