This photograph has gone viral not just because drenched daddy and tiny son are adorable, but also because it holds a strong message. As one imgur user points out in a comment, "Dad is doing more than keeping him dry. He's teaching him how to put others before himself."
One user suggested that dad could do better, however: "Give the umbrella to the kid. Hold the kid. Problem solved."
Another noted that mom would have trumped dad: "A mum would have made sure the kid was sent to school with a raincoat on in the first place haha."
