Children instinctively know they will have some explaining to do when they do something "bad". So this little girl in trouble prepared her story and decided to stick with it, come what may.
Sofia's offense was that she painted her Barbie doll with some of her blue Disney nail polish. When confronted by her dad, the three-year-old had a rather interesting explanation ready for him.
"She told me to," she says, holding back her tears.
On hearing this, dad Joseph Nagorski tries to paint her a little picture of probably how the situation must have unfolded based on her claim.
"So when Barbie was laying there, Barbie said 'I'm gonna go ahead and just lay here and you can play with me'. And then all of a sudden Barbie said, 'OK, can you paint me with nail polish?" Joseph tries to reason with her.
"She said it a hundred times," Sofia replies, not quite getting the whole point of the exercise.
Hmmm... Pinocchio's got tough competition in baby Sofia. The kid's standing by her version.
