The picture puts the newest royal baby with mother Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and grandmother Princess Diana, all in one frame.
The photograph shows the grandmother bending over her granddaughter with a look of delight on her face.
The image was shared on Facebook by Mary Kohnke, who wanted people to help make it go viral. Netizens responded by sharing the image some 2.6 lakh times, making it go viral on other social media platforms as well.
Even though it's still not clear who actually is behind the photoshopped picture, the image of Princess Diana seems to be taken from a 1997 picture of her meeting Mother Teresa in New York. Later the same year, the Princess of Wales died in a car crash.
