Turns out it's not just humans who love little puppies - one particular primate finds the tiny bundles of fur just as irresistible as we do.
In an adorable video posted on YouTube by a user called jesse lightfoot, a monkey can't stop swooning over a litter of new-born puppies.
The monkey tenderly pets the puppies just like a kid who's just gotten his first dog. Monkey also gives each puppy a thorough scratching.
Then, remembering its instincts, it stops every so often to check their fur for grubs.
Since the video was posted on March 25, it's got nearly 1.5 million views on YouTube. This puppy-loving monkey joins a growing menagerie of its kind.
When a baby panda was rejected by its mother, a domestic cat raised it with her litter. Recently, a black Labrador adopted an abandoned tiger cub and a pair of fawns, feeding them alongside her own puppy.
