Netizens have resolved 'the dress' debate, figured out when Cheryl celebrates her birthday, and are done with the whole Ice Bucket Challenge.

So here's the latest fad that's breaking the internet - a going-viral activity that involves summoning demons.

Yes, you read that right. People are now trying the #CharlieCharlieChallenge and posting their videos and pictures on social media sites, making the hashtag trend all over.

The #CharlieCharlieChallenge is apparently an old Mexican game (let's not say ritual and spook everyone out) that involves summoning a demon.

And this is what it involves:
1. Write the words 'yes' and 'no' in boxes on a sheet of paper.
2. Place two pencils on the ghost-calling-board in the form of a cross and say the words "Charlie, Charlie are you here?"
3. If the pencils move, it means "Charlie" (and you better hope it's a friend of Casper's) is ready to answer your questions.

So people all over the internet are trying out this 'game' and here are some of the results that involve lots of nervous laughter, shrieking, running out of rooms, et al (Seriously, why do it if you're so scared?)

Following this, many took to Twitter to troll the whole activity.

Many people are also sharing fear and bad experiences after trying the challenge.

Apparently, to end the whole 'game' the participants need to say the words "Charlie, Charlie are you done?" and throw the pencils on the ground to end the activity. This should be done so Charlie goes away for good and doesn't stay back as a guest in your house.

Seriously, whatever happened to throwing ice water on each other? Go back to making that viral again, AND LEAVE CHARLIE OUT OF ALL THIS.
