Lalu Prasad Yadav mocked Sushil Modi saying he was not invited to Yogi Adityanath's swearing-in ceremony
Twitter enjoys healthy political rivalry. As Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi engaged in a war of words on Twitter. On Sunday, Mr Modi ribbed Lalu Yadav over Yogi Adityanath's appointment and got a taste of the Bihar politician's famous humour. Mr Modi tweeted, "Lalu Prasad Yadav is so shocked at Yogi Adityanath's appointment that he doesn't know what to say anymore". Lalu Yadav promptly hit back, asking Mr Modi to shave his head to look like the new Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.
The tweet was shared 3400 times. He also mocked Mr Modi saying he was not invited to Yogi Adityanath's swearing-in. But in a later tweet, Mr Modi later posted photos from the oath taking ceremony to prove he was.
This is not the first time the two have taken potshots at each other on social media. On March 11, Mr Modi posted a sarcastic tweet to Lalu Yadav following BJP's massive win in Uttar Pradesh. Lalu Yadav turned the tables on him and said the BJP won only because Mr Modi was out of U.P.
