5. Landline: Yes, one phone for an entire family - and often, that family was a joint one.

6. Floppy: Square in shape, ancestor to the CDs, DVDs and pendrives

7. Covering school notebooks with brown paper: Reason for doing this is still unknown, but was fun nonetheless

8. Kodak film rolls: Digital cameras were a figment of one's imagination, a thing of the future just like Facebook, 24-hour news channels and texting.

9. Snakes and ladders: All-time favourite board-game, no competition there
