'The Gift Of Love' is a Father's Day short film with a difference, for it has less to do with fathers and daughters and more with one woman on a quest. Until the very end of the film, that is, when all the loose ends tie up with one happy meeting. Much of this lovely short film is taken up by actress Amrita Prakash's smiling face as she searches for something, or someone. We, as viewers, never realise until the end what she's been looking for - and that's completely fine. The movie sets a fine pace and keeps you engaged throughout.
With a cast that brings its characters to life - including Amrita Prakash as Sunaina, Bikramjeet Kanwarpal and Meghna Malik, amongst other, the short film makes for an emotional watch.
