For all those people who take their parents for granted (that's most of us), this story on the Humans of Bombay page is for you. Shared some 16 hours ago, this Mumbai teen's story about life after losing both her parents has touched several people on Facebook.

In the post, the teen, name not revealed, describes how her parents met, fell in love, got married and made a life for themselves together. "When dad lost his job at one point, mom supported us and dad took care of me... they were always balancing each other out," she says on Facebook.
 
 
 


She then goes on to talk about losing her father at a young age and then losing her mother in an accident less than five years after his death. She also talks about her struggles at school and struggling to cope without her parents.

At 18, this young woman has been through more than her share of hardship and yet she has a dream and has decided to fulfil it for herself and for her parents. She has two hard-hitting messages for everyone, one of which is - "don't push plans with your parents to 'tomorrow.'"
