Turns out, 'completely new' involves judging a dance show
Last year, best-selling novelist Chetan Bhagat said he wanted to take a break from writing and do something 'completely new'.
"I am very tired of writing books and want to do something else, something out of the ordinary," Mr Bhagat said at the Blender's Pride Fashion Tour in Mumbai.
Turns out, 'completely new' involves judging a dance show. According to reports, Chetan Bhagat will add Nach Baliye 7 judge to his resume, which already lists engineer and investment banker as jobs held. The overachieving Mr Bhagat's co-judges will be actress Preity Zinta and choreographer Marzi Pestonji.
Anything that the writer does, gets a lot of social media attention and so Twitter swung instantly into action. As we write this, he is trending on both Facebook and Twitter.
Some commented on his accomplishments.
Sarcastic disbelief was also accompanied by suggestions that other celebrities be recruited into unlikely gigs.
Some even described the author as 'jobless':
