'Bust' Of All Jokes: Bizarre Cristiano Ronaldo Statue Mocked On Twitter

New Delhi: Wednesday was a momentous day for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid striker had an international airport renamed in his honour. The airport in the island of Madeira was renamed 'Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport' in the presence of Portuguese PM, President and thousands of fans. The player said he was 'happy and honoured' to have given his name to the airport.

But what really stole all the limelight at the event was a strange looking bust of the footballer that will now greet travellers at the airport. Twitter was quick to point out that the statue looked nothing like the player and quickly became a source of memes online.
