Daddies share an awesome bond with their daughters. They get to be their little princesses' guardians, friends, confidants - and in this case, singing partners.

Some parents use lullabies, some use bedtime stories but here's one dad who chose to cover Tonight You Belong to Me to put his baby to sleep.

When his four-year-old daughter, afraid of fireworks, couldn't sleep at night, Benjamin J Ames decided to sing to her. In the video below, you can see him playing his daughter's pink toy guitar and singing the cutest possible version of the song.

The little girl must really dislike those firecrackers; she kept stopping daddy mid-verse to concentrate on their sound. So much for trying to preoccupy her mind and comforting her!

"In the end, nothing competes with fireworks," writes Benjamin with the YouTube video.

All said and done, we just loved watching this daddy-daughter duet. Take a look and watch out for the big finish in the video below. It will totally make your day.
