A Little Boy Wanted to Read Books. So a Mailman Got Facebook to Help

This is the story of a random act of kindness that will make the world seem a little bit brighter and social media less like a cold and cruel place peopled by trolls who hate everyone.

Utah resident Ron Lynch, who is a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, received a request from Matthew Flores, a little boy on his mail route. He was fond of reading, but didn't have any books. So he asked Rob if there was any extra mail that he could read.

A very moved Rob wrote a post on Facebook asking his friends to help little Matthew. This post went viral like wildfire, with over 8,444 shares.
