Two suicide blasts in Pakistan; 16 killed
NDTV Correspondent, Saturday September 26, 2009, Peshawar, Bannu
At least 16 people have been killed in two suicide car bomb attacks in northwestern Pakistan.

Ten people are feared to have been killed and dozens injured in a bombing in Peshawar. Earlier, a suicide car bomb in Bannu also killed at least six people.

In Peshawar, a bomb exploded in the car park of a bank in a commercial area. In Bannu, a bomber detonated his vehicle outside a police station.

The Taliban, quiet after the recent killing of their leader Baitullah Mehsud, seem to be sending a message that they're regrouping.
