Share terror information, Pak tells India
Press Trust of India, Wednesday October 21, 2009, Islamabad
Pakistan on Tuesday asked India to share information about any imminent terror attack "so that we can take."

"If India has any information about this, they should let us know, they should inform us because while Indian leaders do make such statements in the public but they haven't, they never shared any such information with us. So it is important that they share this information with us so that we can take care," said Abdul Basit, Foreign Office spokesman.

"They (India) should come forward and co-operate with Pakistan rather than making such public statements", he told a television channel.

Earlier in the day addressing top commanders of defence services in New Delhi the Indian Prime Minister said "there are regular Intelligence reports of imminent attacks in the country. This is a matter of deep concern and there is no room for complacency."

Pakistan is in a helpless condition because the time has come to eat the fruits of terrorism that what it has sown. It is in a confusion state of mind. India should not share any information with Pak the most untrustworthy nation.

For years the pakistani government agencies have been accused of being involved in promoting terror in india. This being the case how can we trust the pakistani government with the information about impending terror strikes? First of all through experience we know that the Pakistanis wont agree there is a single anti indian element in their country. To add to this, even if there were 'some' terrorists, they would probably let them do business as usual. Such has been the case for the past 30 years. Exchanging dossiers with them is also a waste of time and resources.
