Pak yet to formulate response to talks offer
NDTV Correspondent, Tuesday February 9, 2010, Islamabad
Pakistan has said it is yet to respond to India's offer for talks, but would prefer the composite dialogue process that was stalled after the 26/11 attacks.

"We are still holding internal consultations on the Indian offer and have not really formulated a response. It's important to know what we are getting into and the trajectory of the proposed talks," Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit said.

The spokesman also made it clear that Pakistan was "not against engagement with India" but said "talks for the sake of talks would have no meaning".
