The new Mercedes team is extremely keen on having 7-time world champion Michael Schumacher as their lead driver, according to reports.

2009 constructor's championship winner Mercedes, who has taken over Brawn, will have Nico Rosberg as their second driver.
 
Earlier this year, Schumacher was planning a comeback with Ferrari when Felipe Massa got injured in a crash.
