Court stays framing of charges against Shiney

The Bombay High Court has stayed the framing of charges against Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja, who is accused of raping his domestic help. Shiney's lawyers had filed an application saying that they have not been given all the documents related to the case. The charges were scheduled to be framed on Wednesday.

Shiney turned vegetarian in prison

The three-and-a-half months stay behind bars made actor Shiney Ahuja, who walked out of the Arthur Road jail this evening on bail, turn vegetarian. Shiney, on most occasions, shared home food of Mustafa Dossa, a 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case accused. Dossa would have non-veg food while Shiney freaked out on vegetarian stuff, prison officials said.

Out of jail, Shiney comes home to Delhi

Actor Shiney Ahuja is heading home to Delhi from Mumbai where he has been ordered to stay till his trial. The actor left the jail on Saturday after being in prison for almost four months on charges of raping his 20-year-old maid. The actor was recently granted the bail. Shiney has to submit his passport to the police so that he cannot leave the country without permission.

Actor Shiney Ahuja has left the jail after being in prison for almost four months on charges of raping his 20-year-old maid. The actor was recently granted the bail. Shiney was asked to pay Rs 50,000 and once surety has been posted, he is likely to be released.

Actor Shiney Ahuja gets bail in rape case

Ahuja has told the court he will move to Delhi to stay with his parents. He has to submit his passport to the police so that he cannot leave the country without permission. He will also have to report every week to the police station handling his case. Ahuja has been denied bail twice in the past.

Shiney Ahuja’s judicial custody extended

The judicial custody for Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja, accused of raping his domestic help, has been extended till August 27. The move came after the Mumbai police filed a 109-page chargesheet against the actor accusing him of rape, wrongful confinement and threatening his domestic help.

Shiney denies raping his maid

Pleading for bail, Actor Shiney Ahuja arrested on charges of raping his maid on Friday claimed in the local court that he had "consensual" sex but denied he had raped her. The 36-year-old actor in his bail plea also claimed he was victim of a "well-hatched conspiracy" to malign and extort money from him.

Shiney shares cell with Salem
