YSR Reddy 1949-2009

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was killed after the helicopter in which he was travelling crashlanded atop the Rudrakonda hill in the Nallamalla range, about 40 nautical miles east of Kurnool.

The chopper carrying the AP Chief Minister, his Principal Secretary P Subramanyam, Chief Security Officer ASC Wesley, pilot Group Captain S K Bhatia and co-pilot M S Reddy, went off the radar screens on Wednesday amid bad weather and incessant rains.

The 11-year-old Bell 430 helicopter with five on board had lost radio contact one hour after it took off from the old Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad at 0835 hours on Wednesday. Indian Air Force personnel located the helicopter in the deep forests on Thursday morning, after 24 hours of massive land, air and satellite-backed search. (NDTV Photo)

i can not forget him. he is always in my dream. i don't no how should i forget him, i listing his deaths songs several time. our family is his fan. we have assurance one day meet him with lord Jesus Christ. stanley

I do agree YSR has done a lot of good things for AP which no one had ever did....my deep condolences to the state!!!...though he ate some money he definitely made some developments tooo.the time he realised and tht of improving AP still..god took him..its the fate of AP..no once can cahnge AP:(

why did air-craft department passed the route i.e. why they had not stopped the C.M. We all think this is preplanned thoughts of somebody else by ruling ministers and by the opponinies

It's another sad chapter added to our national aviation history. No one is learning from these deadly mistakes be it a pilot error or radar controlers etc... Who is responsible? DGCA is the athourity in India, who is sleeping on enforcement rules, is corrupted to the brim. I share my views on the eve of such a grave accident. I have been an keen aviator for the last 30 plus years and have held both Indian & Canadian commercial Pilot licences. It is a wake up call for the aviation ministry as well as the PM office. My heart felt feelings foY's family

It was very unfortunate that our Chief Minister YSR Reddy is deceased due to helicopter crash. A great loss to our state

Im very sad to heard that we lost a valvable minister of our state.Im realy apreciate him and will prayer for him.regards his family.Im very thankful to him that he help us.once again very very sad.

This is very sad to hear such a news that the man behind the win of congress in andra pradesh has passaway. This is also a shame to Indian's to her this news. We as a Indian's could not save a life who has created a new andra pradesh after YS has become chief minister. We have lost a great persoan. Be sole resect in peace. My last word is shame to the all the Indian's
