YSR's wife to contest from his constituency?
NDTV Correspondent, Wednesday November 25, 2009,

The Congress high command has reportedly given the green signal for the candidature of Vijayalakshmi, wife of late Andhra chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, to contest from Pulivendula assembly constituency.

A formal nod will happen in due course.

The high-profile constituency will go to polls on December 19 after the seat fell vacant due YSR's death in a helicopter crash on September 2.

Pulivendula has been represented by the influential Reddy family since 1978 when Rajasekhara Reddy was elected to the Assembly for the first time.

Sonia Gandhi has reportedly also told Reddy's son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who is currently MP from the family pocket borough of Kadapa, that there is no question of him quitting.

Offcourse, congress is a family tree and who else will get the ticket, hard working longtime party workers working for for years or YSR's family? Title : Congress family politics.

This practice has to stop in a democracy. How many people from the same family can represent people? Is that fair representation of people?
