Yoga, climate change at Narendra Modi's camp
NDTV Correspondent, Tuesday December 8, 2009, Rann of Kutch

Inspired by the Climate Summit at Copenhagen, Narendra Modi has held a brainstorming session with his ministers at  the picturesque Rann of Kutch.

At the four-day camp, the Gujarat Chief Minister included climate change as one of the topics of discussion. On the first day of the camp, former President APJ Kalam addressed the group on eco-friendly development.

Sources who attended the camp say Modi invited his ministers and bureaucrats to share ideas on how to market the Kutch district as a destination for solar and wind energy harnessing.

The government has already signed an agreement with the Clinton Foundation for a solar power project in Kutch.
