While the employees should understand the adverse conditions, the management and the Policy makers should also take corrective steps. Will the staff on the management side forego their perks or will the Minister concerned forego his allowances for wrong decisions. Why blame only the emplyees ?

The employees of AIR India and Indian Air Lines for that matter any public sector company from top to Bottom behaved like princes. As a result they lost public good will. The expenditure in our public air lines has become abnormal. Unless it is cut down drastically government support will not do any good. How long you can keep a patient on Ventilation? The employees of Air India should see the present trends in the world and job position and come to an understanding. The government also has to pay salaries. Of course no work no pay principle should be followed. Wages for the period they worked should be paid. All said and done they are employees doing the jobs for livelihood.
