Barely two days after senior Uttar Pradesh bureaucrat Harminder Singh committed suicide, the police have closed the case.

The police say there is nothing to investigate and it's an open and shut case.

However, questions are being raised about the incident, especially because Harminder Singh, who was the Principal Secretary, Housing, was in-charge of Mayawati's statue projects.
