Telecom scam: BJP steps up 'sack Raja' campaign
NDTV Correspondent, Monday October 26, 2009, New Delhi
The Opposition has stepped up pressure on the government to sack Telecom Minister A Raja over the reported in the allocation of 2G spectrum.

Speaking to the media, senior leader Arun Jaitley said that the spectrum had been allocated at 2001 prices despite the TRAI emphasising that it couldn't allocate the spectrum on old prices.

"It's a loss of more than Rs 60,000 crore," Jaitley said. He added that it was the largest scam in India.

Jaitley pointed out that PM shouldn't have commented on the scam when the probe is on.

When will these politicians realize that people are watching these cat fights everyday ? 2 things could happen. Either people will give up and just focus in moving away from the country or a people revolution is expected. Sack him and then what? a probe into this for the next 15yrs . General public feels no difference. Politicians and their kids just keep getting richer...
