NDTV Correspondent, Saturday August 8, 2009, New Delhi

Pune is reporting a curious case concerning swine flu wherein a 21-year-old foreign national, Sahwan Mohammed Aziz, has gone missing. The police are looking for him.

Meanwhile, a 13-year-old girl, suspected of having swine flu, has been put on ventilator in the city. Her condition is said to be critical.

The city in Maharshtra is facing a tough time in tackling the H1N1 virus. On Friday, the Symbiosis educational institution had to shut down its campus after a 14-year-old girl tested positive to H1N1 virus.

On the same day, reports also came in of two patients in critical condition. One of the patients is a doctor while the other is a pharmacist. Both the patients were however stable, and were admitted in the city's Sassoon General Hospital.

This came three days after 14-year-old Reeda Sheikh became country's first H1N1 casualty.
