Rahul plays the youth card in J&K
Fayaz Bukhari, Monday April 27, 2009, Anantnag

It was a historical moment on Monday when Rahul Gandhi and Omar Abdullah addressed a rally in Anantnag -- a PDP stronghold where the National Conference was routed in last year's assembly polls.

Twenty-two years ago, their fathers Rajiv Gandhi and Farooq Abdullah, had campaigned together in the Kashmir valley. And today, GenNext linked these family ties to the destiny of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Now elections are on and you have to take Kashmir ahead. The CM here is the youngest CM in India who will be in politics for the next 20-25 years, not just a matter of days," Rahul said.

Taking his time from busy schedule Rahul Gandhi's campaigned for National Conference in Anantnag to show the people in PDP stronghold that Rahul-Omar friendship is long lasting.

Rahul should be playing a KID CARD in J&K. The way he speaks and the arguments he raises and the statements - makes no sense. I hope he never becomes the PM of India - Congress has better leaders like Pranab and Dixit - PLEASE NOT THE GANDHI FAMILY.
