Politician's prasad leaves 100 kids sick, 1 dead
NDTV Correspondent, Monday October 19, 2009, Bhojpur, Bihar
A Thanksgiving puja, organized by a politician who won an election, has left a hundred children sick, and one dead.

The special prayers were  held on Sunday afternoon by Baleshwar Shah in Banauli village of the Bhojpur district of Bihar.  Shah was celebrating his victory in local agricultural cooperative elections.  Prasad was distributed to villagers who attended the puja.

On Sunday night, the children started throwing up and complaining of stomach aches. One child has died, and another five are in critical condition.  Ninety others are being treated in their village by a team of doctors who are camping there to  treat the sick children at home.

Shah, the politician who organized the prayers, has disappeared.

Once Shah is caught, he is going to deny this for sure and either the ruling or Opposition party will make a statement saying that either "He is not with us" or "We have asked him to resign and we will bring justice"...and then the case will end with a "THE END" just like the end of our old movies.
